With her incredible talent and dedication, Vish has garnered international acclaim for her breathtaking large-scale contemporary botanical and abstract paintings. In a remarkably short span of just eight years, she has achieved remarkable success and made her mark in the art world.
Vish’s artistic journey is shaped by her vibrant and diverse background. Growing up in India, Europe, and Australia, she has been exposed to a rich tapestry of cultures and experiences. Living and working in bustling cities like Mumbai, London, Milan, New York, and Melbourne, Vish has absorbed the essence of each place, infusing her work with a unique perspective and an unmistakable creative flair.

our technique
Unleashing soulful artistry
Vish’s technique, known as “Ink Manipulation,” involves sketching a freehand pencil drawing on canvas and then using acrylic inks as her preferred medium. The fluidity and transparency of the inks create a bold, contemporary, and vibrant effect in her paintings. Her unrepeated painting technique involves manipulating the free flowing ink, using gravity to glide across the canvas, and then modifying it delicately with a brush. Each element is invited in one layer, with further details added by oil paints and gauche if needed. Acrylic inks dry as a transparent skin, allowing Vish to achieve a blend of tones by lifting unnecessary color delicately with droppers. The process can take 2 to 4 months, resulting in a harmonious, soft, and vibrant piece of art that often resembles watercolors.

Vish’s creative process is all about creating without restraint and enjoying the creative process while staying detached from the outcome. Her background in architecture and fashion design has had a significant influence on her work, allowing her to plan and visualize large-scale works and create a harmonious balance of color and texture while keeping the subject as the focal point. Nature is a constant source of inspiration for Vish, and she often refers to sketches and photographs collected during her nature walks.
In addition to her painting, Vish has been commissioned for several illustration projects, including a children’s book by Fiona Brown, an Australian author. Her first illustration project was published when she was just 16, for the Ministry of Textiles in India.
Vish aims to create timeless works in a world of mass production and repetition, and her unique style and dedication to her craft have earned her a well-deserved place in the international art community

Beauty With Purpose
My extensive travels across India, Europe, and Australia, as well as moving 41 times across four countries, have had a profound influence on my work. Having had the privilege of collaborating with brilliant architects and designers in India, London, and Italy, I have developed a unique artistic perspective that reflects my diverse experiences. I began my artistic journey with water colours, but was often frustrated with the limited size they allowed. However, inks proved to be the perfect medium for me to create large-scale, watercolor like paintings on canvas. The fluidity and transparency of inks capture the vibrancy and softness found in flowers, which inspires me to create a magical world on canvas. Over time, I have incorporated oils and gauche to add more detail where necessary, further expanding my artistic range.
In the wake of our post-COVID world, the urgency of conservation resounds louder than ever before. As an artist, my mission transcends the realm of aesthetics. It is a heartfelt calling to evoke an emotional response
within the viewer—a stirring that ignites a profound mental dialogue, inviting them to reassess their choices and reconnect with the natural world. I firmly believe that the answers to many of our challenges lie in our harmonious connection with nature. In this humble pursuit, I aspire for my art to serve as a humble link—a conduit that bridges the gap between humanity and the transformative power of the natural world.
